Theranos Founder Elizabeth Holmes Gives Birth to Second Child Amidst Legal Troubles

Elizabeth Holmes, the founder of the now-defunct blood- testing company Theranos, has given birth to her second child. Holmes, who's facing felonious charges of fraud and conspiracy, gave birth to a baby boy in early January 2021. The child's father is William" Billy" Evans, a hospitality heir at law who's reportedly engaged to Holmes. Holmes' legal troubles stem from her role in Theranos, which was formerly valued at$ 9 billion but collapsed after it was revealed that the company's technology didn't work as announced. Holmes has contended not shamefaced to the charges against her and is listed to go on trial in March 2021. The birth of her alternate child comes as Holmes continues to prepare for her forthcoming trial.
