Ireland chose to bat first, but the Indian spinners made it difficult for them to score, and they were dismissed for 70 runs in 18.2 overs. With to Smriti Mandhana's undefeated 42-run innings and Jemimah Rodrigues' 26 unbeaten, India easily completed the mark. With this triumph, India has won the competition twice in a row and improved its ranking in the group standings.
